Inspire • Develop • Team

We are an FA Charter Standard Community Club and promote football in the community by providing boys and girls of all ages and abilities with a safe and secure environment in which to enjoy the sport. All managers are certified in Child Protection and First Aid and each team has an FA Level 1 Coach. Every club volunteer is CRB checked every 3 years.

Our Club

We have over 650 playing members and more than 120 volunteers helping to field 45+ teams, ranging from U7-U18s (including 11 Girls Only sides) and 5 Men’s Vets teams.

We have a number of player development programmes run by our coaching partners Platform Sports Coaching:

The Saturday Soccer Club for children in Reception introduces young players to the beautiful game and runs from September - July in line with the school term. The session takes place at Hinchley Wood Secondary School 9:15am-10:15am.

For fledgling footballers in age groups: Year 1, Year 2 and Years 3/4 we have our exciting new Games Programme which allows players to enjoy high quality training sessions from Platform Sports Coaching alongside regular games against other teams. Players wishing to join a Claygate Royals FC team must first become a member of the games programme. The games programme takes place on Saturdays at Esher College with fixtures usually at Claygate Rec 9am - 10am.

We also have two official FA Wild Cats (girls only) programmes for players U6-U13.

To register for either of these programmes and to learn more about other sessions provided by Platform Sports Coaching such as Platform Kickers, Football Camps, Wildcats and Development Centres please visit: Platform Sports Coaching.
